Commitment towards the environment:
Glass water bottles & Dispensers in washrooms are being used to reduce the use and waste of single use plastic at the hotels.
Our Solar plant in Bikaner provides more than 50% of the electricity required in all the hotels. Thus reducing our carbon footprint.
Electric car (EV) charging stations are available at Westin Pushkar & Ramada Jaipur North to promote ease of using Electric cars. We were one of the first groups to begin efforts towards promoting use of EVs, as early as 2019.
Paper packaging & paper bags are used for food takeaways/deliveries instead of plastic.
Food wastage is tracked everyday so as to ensure least amount of wastage.
Energy conservation & management-Renewable energy is integrated in as many segments as possible. Also, idle running of electronic devices is minimized wherever possible.
Environmental Awareness is a regular part of the group’s training. Employees regularly participate in sapling planting drives.
Organic farming – The farm in Pushkar provides many fruits & vegetables to the hotels, which are made using bio-fertilizers & manure.
Women empowerment – Ensuring equal opportunities and increasing their representation in the workplace, management & leadership. Women are taking active roles in many of our verticals.
Supporting local artisans by purchasing handmade products, arts & crafts as well as promoting their work with guests as well.
Wellness is promoted in Westin as an integral part of its brand.
During Covid, every employee was given immunity-building supplements so as to safeguard them.
Charity work – during Covid 50 meals per day were being served in Pushkar to feed the local daily wagers & their families.
